We are both students at The Helsinki University of Technology. The X-Files got started as a school project for the course Human-Computer Inteface, but soon got out of that scope and became a challenge for both of us to create a flexible and fast file management system for Linux. We are both ex-Amiga users and that is the reason for X-Files' similarities with DirWork. Why go and change something that has been proved to be good?
Juha is an Electrical Engineer student studying Digital Signal Processing as his major.
Mikko is a Computer Science student studying Telecommunications as his major.
